We know that America and Canada are experiencing a record-breaking cold with Australia experiencing the hottest weather in the decades. Here are some stunning pictures of snow falling in the unlikeliest of places, the Sahara desert.

According to sources, snowfall has only been experienced in this region for the third time in 40 years.

Ain Sefra lies on the very northern edge of the Sahara and is known as the ‘Gateway to the Desert’.
